Conducting payment outside of the platform is a serious violation of PropertyLoop's Terms of Services. When you pay outside of the platform, your sensitive information is not protected. This puts you at risk of getting scammed or phished. Your money is not protected when you pay outside of the PropertyLoop platform. PropertyLoop is registered with the property ombudsman and has client money protection, therefore you're fully protected as long as you transact through the platform.
When you pay through the platform, we're able to track and record all of your transactions to make sure payments are received safely and that your information is secure. This way, we're also able to investigate any fraudulent, suspicious, or illegal activity.
As a result, if an owner asks you to accept payment out of the platform, decline this request immediately and let them know that is a violation of our Terms of Service. If the user pushes this issue, please report this to support immediately.
